Nice post from Zach Nash from the City of OKC, on Nextdoor about having a Garage Sale. If you are planning one, give it a read.
Once again, it is time to pay the $15 Annual Membership Dues for 2015 for each residence in WHNA. The dues are used to support many activities including our Saturday morning Association Meetings, our Neighborhood Watch Patrol, the Patroller’s Appreciation Dinner, and watering of the plants along Meridian Ave.
In addition, your Newsletters are printed and delivered to your door 5 times a year. We do a lot for the membership fee of $15. Please consider helping with one of the committees on the back of the dues form. Your involvement will be greatly appreciated. Many wonder what the $ 15.00 goes for and one thing it supports is the Patrol and having to occasionally replacing the “Patrolled Area” signs. Many wonder what the $ 15.00 goes for and one thing it supports is the Patrol and having to occasionally replacing the “Patrolled Area” signs. We have also had to replace the “Yard of the Month” signs and now we are going to have the additional signs of letting residents know when there will be a neighborhood meeting. Also the printing of the Directory, and joining the Association will ensure a Directory will be added to your library. Thank you for being involved in your Neighborhood by paying your dues. If you provide an email address on your Member form, it will go no further.
You can pay your dues online here.
It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood!!! Dawn and I just got back from a bike ride around WH. It’s always nice to see the well-kept homes and yards. There is certainly pride in home ownership in WH.
If you haven’t completed a survey yet, please do so soon. The WHNA board is relying on results of the survey to determine our objectives for the year.
The survey can be found here: https://www.surveymokey.com/s/72NZK2N
Or email me directly: email@example.com
The only currently declared objective for 2015 by the board is to increase membership. To that end our IT department, Technology Development Chair Chad Henderson and Vice-President Blake Fischer, are in the process of putting membership registration on our web page. This will allow for the paying of dues online. We will provide more info after they implement the system. We will continue to accept registration and payments by mail with check using the slip at the bottom of this newsletter. Remember to mark on the back of the membership form if you are willing to serve on one of committees. I hope to have the April 18th meeting end by 11:00 AM at which time members can meet with committee chairs to discuss volunteering their services.
We will also be having some planting of shrubs along Meridian Ave.
This was approved by the board a few years ago, but put on hold until the sidewalks were completed. Visit with Walt Spencer at the April 18th meeting if you would like some input into this project.
Look for the new signs announcing the meeting and see you April 18th.
We are in the process of updating to a newer, nicer website for the Windsor Hills Neighborhood Association. It should be completed and available soon.
